FAQs

  • Custom audiences are special data groups that we collate from our network of 200+ data providers specific to the needs of an individual campaign.

These custom audiences are then uploaded to social media platforms to assist with paid social campaign targeting.

For example, a tourism company in Sydney wanted to reach wealthy tourists who would be visiting the country in the following quarter. They had limited success targeting the right audiences using the recommended native Facebook audiences.

We created a custom audience called "High Net Worth Tourists" for them. This audience consisted of people in the right age range from the USA, UK, and Europe. These people had searched for or purchased first-class tickets to Sydney that aligned with the campaign timeframe. They had also researched or bought stays at local hotels and showed interest in the offerings of this specific tourism company.

We applied this custom audience to their existing social media campaigns, and within a month, they experienced four times more engagement on their ads and tripled their sales.

  • Custom audiences do what the social platforms used to. Target more of the right people you want to target and exclude more of those you don’t.

The erosion of their data collection capabilities has meant native social network audiences can contain up to 90% non-relevant individuals. That translates into higher total ad spending for diminishing long-term results.

By supplementing campaigns with custom audiences, we can drastically improve advertising efficiency and, thus, make paid social advertising more effective in terms of performance and cost.

  • There are four broad steps for new customers.

    1. Provide us with a brief.

The more information you can give us, the more specific we can be with our audience recommendations. We can do this under NDA if required to ensure your communications are protected.

    2. Approve our audience recommendations and pricing.

We will provide a full proposal outlining the audience compositions and costs for key stakeholders. Upon agreement, we will send an insertion order that outlines the details of the terms and conditions.

    3. Arrange platform access.

Appropriate levels of access enable us to upload audiences and view campaign delivery.

    4. Audience upload.

Once the audiences are uploaded, we provide advice and recommendations on audience refinement as required for the campaign's duration.

  • There is no minimum spend.

  • Audience costs are variable but typically the increase in data costs can be around 15% of the native CPM cost.

Part of our pre-sale service is to provide you with accurate costings before engagement, and we structure our fees in such a way as to allow for maximum return on this increased spend.

The best way to get an accurate costing for your campaign is to send us a detailed brief, from which we can provide you with the relevant costs.

  • The short answer is yes. The long answer is we haven’t found a native audience we couldn’t supplement with a better custom audience yet.

The best way to understand if we can help with your campaign needs is to reach out and talk to us.

  • We operate on a Net 20 payment term. This means we invoice for the delivery of impressions after a reconciliation at the end of the month, and payment is then due twenty days later.

  • We charge on a CPM (per 1000 impressions delivered). The CPM is agreed upon before implementation and is not subject to change once agreed upon unless consented in writing.

We have enterprise options for large or ongoing relationships that can be discussed in person.
